The main contents of the contract are as follows. The Company as the contractor will invest in the construction including the operation of station and the compression of gas into the gas transportation vehicles in 3 areas of PTT; 1. Scan Inter Co., Ltd. located on Bangbuathong - Bangpain Road, Bangkrabeu, Samkhok, Pathum Thani Province, 2. Venus Gas Technology Co., Ltd. operated on Kingkaew Road, Rachathewa, Bang Phil Yai, Samut Prakarn Province, and 3. Sakol Energy Co., Ltd. located on Road No.347 (Wat Sadet - Bangsai Arts and Crafts Center), Chiang Rak Noi Sub-district, Samkhok Dictrict, Pathum Thani Province. Each of the Company's main stations has the minimum compressor capacity of 200 tons per day and 50 tons per day capacity of reserved compressed gas, resulting in a total capacity of at least 600 tons per day. This will respond to the increasing needs of the station in Bangkok and vicinity areas. This project will take about 9 months to complete and will start producing compressed natural gas for PTT around October 2009.

Dr. Jitpong Kwangsuksathit, Chief Operating Officer of PTT Upstream Petroleum and Gas Business Group, revealed that in order for the service provision of NGV distribution with off-grid NGV stations in Bangkok and vicinity areas sufficiently and timely to high levels of NGV use compared to other regions, PTT has invited private investors who are interested in submitting the proposal to establish the Private Mother Station simultaneously in 3 areas; the 1st area is the northern zone pipeline area in the area of Sai Noi District to Samkhok District, Pathum Thani Province, the 2nd area is the pipeline zone under the area of Sai Noi District to the south Bangkok power plant, and the 3rd area is the eastern pipeline area of Bang Phli District to Nong Suea District.

Dr. Jitpong Kwangsuksathit added more that the cooperation occurring this time would enhance the efficiency of NGV market expansion as the private sector was more flexible than PTT in terms of land acquisition, machineries, and construction. It could also help PTT reduce the investment burden including management. In addition, it will support the promotion of PTT's use of NGV as planned to serve the 2009 target expected to have the total of 165,800 vehicles and 400 stations more. The capacity of the main stations in production and distribution will increase from currently 3,020 tons per day to 4,490 tons a day and the number of gas transportation vehicles will increase from 960 to 1,250 by the end of 2009.
